#DoughnutEconomics ~ Kate Raworth
"In January 2015 #rebel #economics #students commandeered the street front of the Boston Sheraton to greet the American Economic Association’s annual conference with their #countercultural critique.
The most powerful tool in #economics is not #money, nor even algebra. It is a pencil. Because with a pencil you can #redraw the world."

What if we had better pencils?
I would really like some kind of free open-source pencil/lens that can draw in 3d, and be viewed in geo-located space, in multiple overlapping layers that can be switched on and off at will to compare and contrast alternative and complementary visions.
A kind of #augmentedreality tool for collaboratively (re)designing the spaces in which we live and interact. Anyone know of anyone working on this?
The essence of the Doughnut: a social foundation of well-being that no one should fall below, and an ecological ceiling of planetary pressure that we should not go beyond. Between the two lies a safe and just space for all.
If humanity’s twenty-first-century goal is to get into the #Doughnut, what economic #mindset will give us the best chance of getting there? https://ecodigital.social/media/A39iuRjKN0fyMWk5DbI
