YouTube has been claiming to fight disinformation campaigns in a policy it enacted this year.
However, a known common tactic of misinformation campaigns is to take truthful, but old, pieces of information and to present them as if they were new.
Some time ago, I noticed that #YouTube seems to have removed from its web interface any kind of information about when a video has been published. When did this happen? This can only contribute to the spread of misinformation.
How come no one is reporting on this important and consequential change to the most watched video platform on the internet, that has been so much abused for the spread of disinformation in recent times?
